(Yogin with six chakras, India, Punjab Hills, Kangra, late 1700s National Museum.)

We are more than just physical matter; as the proverbial iceberg, there is even more of us “under the surface”, or surrounding our physical bodies as it were; this is what I call the energetics. The physical body is energy as well, only more dense. We have an energetic intelligence which we call intuition and also an energetic memory. Without knowing it, often without believing it, we constantly use and live through our energetic selves.

Let’s start from the beginning : All physical matter is made out of atoms, atoms are energy; There is a dense central nucleus that contains positively charged protons and electronically charged neutrons. Around the nucleus there is a cloud of negatively charged electrons. The mass of an atom is miniscule and 99.9% is made up of space. Atoms lack a well-defined outer boundary, so their dimensions are usually described in terms of an atomic radius. (Atoms form about 4% of the total energy density of the observable universe, with an average density of about 0.25 atoms/m3. Just to give you an idea of the space…

Since all materia is made of atoms it is safe to say that 99.9% of that what we perceive to be matter is space and that the boundaries we believe to be defined are actually atomic radius = energy. So this is what our bodies are made of; tiny specs of materia in a vast space with undefined boundaries. Now we’re talking!

All native healing traditions use the concept of energetics; from native tribes all over the world to the more known Ayur Vedic traditions and homeopathy. From widely different cultures, we see the recurrent form of chakra’s and auras, the “basic blueprint” of human energetics. More about chakra’s and aura in following posts.

WATER – a response

WaterI had a request to write more on the topic “water as a medium” so I have spent a couple of days in research trying to find something to interest the person who asked.  I might not always agree with everything I find, but I do believe in information and that every-one makes their own decision in what to believe. Everything interests me and with time all my questions are usually answered. Nobody in the entire world has all the answers and I think that keeping an open mind is the way forward. I do not speak of religion ever, nor do I speak from religious belief. I speak of a global community, of humanity – whatever religious beliefs there might be. On a cellular level we are all the same. 🙂

“The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats which degenerates. Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cell something on which to feed and, so far as we know, the pulsation of life may go on forever…” When cells’ health is compromised because the fluid surrounding them is not conducive for life because of various causes including high acidity etc., they either mutate or die. Once the cell death rate exceeds the birth rate, any individual’s body experiences accelerated aging. Among the many factors that affect aging, diet is the most important, and the foundation of a good diet is water. The Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2003 was given to Peter Agre and Roderick MacKinnon for pioneering discoveries concerning water and ion channels of cells, the mechanism that explains how water flows from and into cells. These discoveries contributed to fundamental chemical knowledge of how cells function.” ( By Jaime Zaragoza, “Water for thought”) For the whole article, check out this link:

This, I believe, is the basic idea of water as a medium. Since water is the single most important life-keeping substance for us as living beings, wouldn’t it make sense that the quality of the water is important? We all know that we get sick, and even die, from polluted water. But what if the water is polluted in a different way? In a way that can’t be measured?….Yet. I have a friend who at one point started praying to her food and drink before she took it; her health improved immensely, she seemed to rejuvenate and grow younger, stronger and fitter. Of course the quality of her nutrition is the best, and she lives her life in accordance to health.

Considering that water is the single largest part of our bodies make-up, responsible for cellular communication and health, wouldn’t it make sense to believe that our thought-patterns integrate with our bodies? If we constantly think negatively about ourselves, are we poisoning ourselves? Returning to the photos of water crystals by Dr. Masaru Emoto:

Much discussion surrounds the work of Dr. Masuru Emoto. The scientific world – rightly – state that his work is not scientific, but also that it can not be refuted.

“As published on the website of the Institute of Noetic Sciences on May 25, 2004, Mr. Nash states that the team “did not find sufficient evidence to refute or accept Emoto’s hypothesis that thought influences water crystalformation.”

Quartz_CrystalCrystal water is often used to promote health; You place a crystal in a jug of spring- or filtered- water and leave it overnight. This will promote health to all living; yourself, your animals and your plants. I made an experiment many years ago; I divided a plant in two parts, planting them in separate pots and setting them side by side in a window. One of the plants was given crystal water, the other spring water from our private well. There was a clear difference in how quickly they healed and grew, the crystal-water plant being much stronger all along.

Homeopathy (Dr. Samuel Hahnemann 1796) is created on the principal of water as a medium.  The more you potentize (dilute) it, the more powerful it gets. (The idea of the smallest part of the body – the cell) Homeopathy has never been accepted by the scientific world, but stays to this day a much-used and constantly growing form of alternative medicine. In Germany homeopathic remedies are sold in pharmacies.

As I said before; I do not allow science alone to dictate what I should believe. I love science and I love when a belief becomes scientific fact. But belief is the key, the vital point that make things happen. Poor is the world without belief. And maybe, yes maybe, it is all make-believe…who cares? Why should that even be important – if it works?

water-crystal GratitudeWe all know that essential oils and water do not mix, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be used together. I find water to be an excellent medium since it has a really high energy and can carry the imprints of thought and memory.

Bach Flower Remedies function upon these principles; the water carries the energetic imprint of the plant and this imprint is what carries the healing properties. The same thing goes for Homeopathy. Remember that only a very tiny amount of energy is needed to communicate to one cell, and all cells communicate with each-other.

2/3 of the earth is covered in water, 2/3 of our bodies are water…So water would be a connecting link between all living. Everything is magnified by water; sight, sound. We all know that water carries sound. Under water we can effortlessly hear sounds that could not be heard above water.

Take a look at the work of  Dr. Masaru Emoto:

His website is:  http://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/e_ome_home.html

Dr. Masaru Emoto  freely admits that he is not a scientist and that his work is not scientifically valid – yet. But if we would only believe “scientifically valid” there would be no more questions, no more research, no more mental evolution. I think these pictures speak for themselves, and I also think people should think and believe from themselves.

  • Skin: Add 5 dr. of essential oils to 200ml pure spring, distilled or filtered water in a spray bottle and shake. Leave for 3 days, shaking the mix every day, and filter through a paper coffee filter. Use this as a facial spray to boost emotion and hydrate your skin.
  • Air cleanser: Add 10-20 dr. of essential oils to 200ml pure spring, distilled or filtered water in a spray-bottle and shake. Spray to cleanse the air after a fight or in a sick-room or just to freshen up. Always shake first so the drops are “mixed” with the water. Don’t spray directly on skin (could cause a rash or irritation) or surfaces (might leave stains).
  • Drink: To a 1/2 liter water-bottle add 2 drops of essential oils; lemon, orange, grape or eucalyptus. Either filter or shake the bottle before drinking. Great energy-boost and helpful to the immune-system.
  • Hydrosols (see below) are excellent for skin-care. Put in a spray-bottle and use during the day for a great pick-me-up, if the scent is too strong, dilute it with pure spring, distilled or filtered water. Can be used directly on the skin unless skin is extremely sensitive; then dilute with water.

When plant-matter is steam-distilled to extract the essential oil, water is used. The end result gives an essential oil and the “perfumed” water. This water has its own characteristics that are different from essential oils, tinctures or infusions. These waters contain trace-elements of the essential oil and all the water-soluble particles in the plant-matter that are light enough in weight to be carried by the steam. A hydrosol smells somewhat like the essential oil but greener. In the old days plants were distilled only for the waters that were used for medicine, cosmetic purposes, cooking and house-keeping. Rose and orange-flower waters are still widely used in traditional Eastern cooking.
