About Things

“Things” can be anything that is outside your body, something physical you can touch. We people tend to collect a lot of things. I am here not talking about consumerism, that’s a whole different story, I’m talking about the every day things; A little extra thing at the store because it’s cute, tidbits from the flea market cause it’s cool. Whatever, just “things”.

Every little thing adds on to what we have to carry when we move and take care of when we’re stationary.

The move is when you realize how much things have been accumulated over time, all those “little things” suddenly became a carload…or two. And there comes the realisation of how much we really don’t care about, not enough to lug it around. It feels so good to get rid of things, to lighten the load.

And once we’ve culled and redistributed our things there is only one rule to keep it down:

One in – One out. Simple
